  1. @L. Knight You know what, I hadn’t thought of that, only because I’m afraid of losing more of the pill “dust” since some of it is already lost in the crusher. But you make a valid point! Today has been a better day- still going good on the fluid intake- had a protein soup (16g) was horrid tasting but manageable. Not much of a celebratory birthday dinner but you manage!? Lol
  2. @L. Knight I could do that, but I’m more worried about crushing all my pills throughout the day. How are you doing?
  3. @L. Knight I’m doing better! - Thank you for asking. The heartburn has been pretty bad but I switched my protein shakes and that seemed to help a lot! I’m getting all my meds in and have been managing to get all my protein requirements and fluid intakes in as well. It’s quite a struggle and I’m not sure how I’ll be able to manage it going back to work next week!?? Any suggestions?
  4. Surgery was yesterday- man oh man- was not expecting the amount of pain and pressure today. Accompanied by bloating and nausea. Add to that- 3 feet of snow and no power! My throat is so sore as well. Crushing pills for the foreseeable future is not going to be fun- they all taste like, well horrible.. But- it’s done and I’m on the road to recovery and success! No regrets! @Mrs Roz - hope you’re doing well!
