Hello! My name is Kathy, and I will be sleeved on 27 Feb 2023. I turn 52 this September, which is the same age my dad was when he died from complications from diabetes, I was 16 at the time. Since I had my 3 children that age has loomed large in my mind. I do not want to repeat the same tragedy with my kids, even though they are older so that is my biggest "why" for my surgery. I want to improve my health, change my. lifestyle and not just stay alive until I die, but really LIVE!!

I love the mountains and have promised myself that I will travel and do the hiking that I have always wanted to do, but have never been able to do in my adult life. I love to travel, and specifically to the mountains, I can not wait to do it as a fit and healthy woman.
