  1. I have also read on this site that a lot of people went to Mexico and were thrilled. I believe I also read that the dr. in Mexico will help facilitate find doctors in this area that will do the fills. I don't know for a fact if that is true or not. Hope the appeal works but on the chance that it doesn't, Mexico seems that a good alternative. I also read something recently about companies that will loan money for the surgery.
  2. Amourette - April did come very quickly for me. I have only 5 days until my surgery and I am getting excited (not like going to Disneyworld, my favorite place excited but you know what I mean), nervous, scared... I will post my experience afterwards. I had my final meeting with my doc on Wednesday and thank goodness, he doesn't require a liquid diet preop. This week is going to fly by and before I know it, it will be Thursday. My surgery isn't scheduled until 2:30 and they are not sure if I am going to be staying overnight or coming home later that evening. I've never had major surgery before so I don't know which I would prefer.:gluck: to all the April bandits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. My sister was just denied through her insurance company Connecticare. They told her they couldn't give her specifics as to why she was denied but to call her surgeon. She has been trying for almost a full month (10 + messages left with his assistant) and she cannot get the assistant to return one phone call. Will she be receiving a letter of denial from her insurance company and then what is the process for appealing a denial? Does the doctor's office usually help a patient in dealing with the appeal process or do they just move on to the next patient.
  4. I too have my date April 6th. I am so excited but getting more nervous as the date gets closer. I will see my surgeon for pre-op on the 29th. Don't have any clue about liquid diet prior to surgery. I can't wait to join the bandster club!!!!!:clap2:
