  1. Welcome and wishing all the best on your journey!
  2. It is my understanding that vitamins are for life. It could be a factor as to why you're not feeling so well. Check in with your doctor asap. I hope you're feeling better soon.
  3. Thank you .. it feels good to be back at home. But it also feels weird. I've only been gone for 2 days. I am glad the surgical process is over. Next step is stage 2 foods. That I will begin tomorrow as directed.
  4. I am being discharged today. It wasn't too bad. I still have a lot of gas moving around. So I have been walking around through the hospital corridors. I had to stay in recovery for the whole day and night because of my blood pressure and sleep apnea. My pain and nausea is being kept in control with medications delivered on schedule. Other than that I am doing okay. I am ready to be home in my own space now..lol
  5. Thanks for the advice. I will definitely enjoy the naps..lol I am off to bed now. My surgery is at 6:30 in the morning. My son is coming for me around 5ish. I will post again after it's over.
  6. Hello all, I am having my gastric bypass tomorrow. For the most part, I am calm and yes, a bit nervous. I just wanted to know what others who've been there what was your experience like on the day of and what can I expect after the surgery? And what was it like the first few days home? I know everyone experiences things differently. But some reassurances from those who had this procedure would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any advice.
