  1. Hello all! I just made 6 months and now I am experiencing pain on the sides and lower parts of my stomach, also my lower back. My doctor advised that I take it easy, take Tylenol, & call her in a few days. I’m not vomiting or having trouble using the bathroom, so she said it may be a pulled muscle. I did start a new walking/jogging routine on the weekends for exercise, & I’m wondering if that contributed to the pain. Anyone else experience random stomach pains months after surgery?
  2. I stepped on the scale this morning and saw 199! I haven’t been one-ANYTHING since I was a teenager! I’ve seen 299, 279, 249, etc… but to see 199 makes me emotional! I had VSG in September and just celebrated four months post op! Just wanted to share my little win!
  3. I’ll try that water tip! Drink & wait! Someone else suggested something similar on another post. What’s your go to protein shake?
  4. Great tips! I think it may be a combination of both types of hunger. I have an appointment next week & will discuss with my dietician how I can appropriately satisfy these cravings! Thank you!
  5. Funny you say this, my doctor actually mentioned in my last appointment that I needed to up my fluid intake to at least 64oz of water a day. I’ve been trying, but maybe I need to really stick to that!
  6. Being excited to eat food definitely sounds like me lol! My stomach is small, but my brain didn’t get the memo! I’ll add those Quest bars to my shopping list. Thank you!
  7. Definitely spikes when I’m bored as well! Thanks for the veggie tip!
  8. What types of snacks are you eating? Do you shop from this sites’ store?
  9. Yogurt has definitely been my go to as well! Never thought about applesauce tho!!! Are you on a sugar free post op diet?
  10. What a way to start the new year! Congratulations on your date! Wishing you all the best! It will be here before you know it!
  11. Hey everyone! I was sleeved in September, so I’m almost to the three month mark. My appetite is returning & it seems to be back with a VENGEANCE! Of course I’m unable to eat passed half a plate (maybe even pass a quarter of a plate lol), but I seem to be hungry more & more throughout the day. Has this happened or is happening to any of you? If so, how are you satisfying these little bursts of hunger?
  12. Congratulations!!! The time will fly by. Stay strong during that liquid diet phase!! You got this!!
  13. I slept in my bed on my back with one of those pregnancy pillows & I was fine. Best of luck to you! 11/07 is right around the corner!!
  14. Surgery was on a Thursday, back to work that following Monday. I worked from home for a week & the following week I went into the office. No one knew a thing lol!
  15. Hey! Definitely a tenderness rather than bloating. But my doctor said the same thing, depends on the individual. Also even with the tenderness I’m feeling, he said everything feels good during my examination so I guess I’ll just wait it out. Thanks for your response!
  16. Hi all! This is my first post! Just a question for you all. How long is your stomach swollen after surgery? For all of my “stomach sleepers” how long before you were able to lay on your stomach? (I’m in week 5, by the way!)
