  1. I know Prescot well! I used to live in Manchester and did a lot of work with an arts organisation in Preston. It’s possible to get bariatric surgery on the NHS, but the waiting list is years long. So I’ve gone private! My surgeon recommended the RNY as the sleeve can make reflux worse, and that’s something I already struggle with. Surgery is on Monday ?
  2. My surgery is scheduled for 24 Oct. Still doesn’t entirely feel real! It seems like I read everything available in terms of information and advice and now that it’s around the corner it’s like my mind is going blank. Does anyone know what I mean?
  3. Don’t know if this thread is still very active but thought I’d say hello just in case. 42 year old queer NB living in London. My bypass surgery is in two weeks and just started my pre op diet today. Nice to find some community on here!
