My surgery is also Oct 31. My surgeon has the same liquid diet plan. I'm losing my mind. It's by far the hardest thing I've ever done. BY FAR. Feeling a bit better today as the end is near. We can do it!!!

It IS freaking torture!!!!!!!!!! Inhumane!!!!

So many of us on the same day! I am on day 12 of the liquid diet. My surgeon only allows liquids - no food at all. Protein shakes, water, broth...it's a nightmare and I cannot believe I did it for 12 days. Weighed myself this morning and I have lost 22 pounds since I went on liquids. Good grief!!!! Feeling a bit better today knowing the end is so near. Let's keep in touch October 31st surgery people!!

My date is the 31st as well. I have spent the last two hours crying my eyes out - probably mainly because I'm on this liquid diet and I'm literally going crazy, but also because I'm just absolutely terrified.
