ooh, I am from Clyde. If you are doing the surgery at Mission I hear Dr. Soozar is good. One of the 3 Drs there does not like doing the lap band. I was on another board and they said that they were going to do the lap band and it got to the date and the dr. was pushing them toward the gastric bypass

Hi Lori, Which program are you working with. I live west of Asheville and have been driving to the Hickory program. My insurance will pay for the lap band in Asheville but because they are not a surgery of center of excellence they don't recommend the program.
