  1. I get a runny nose and hiccups. The problem is my doctors says by the time I get a runny nose I've eaten too much. I find it a real struggle to get the right balance
  2. I checked my own progress at 10 weeks post op and I'd lost 22lb since surgery date. The best thing to do is to discuss this with your surgical team to see what they think. Good luck
  3. I came home from hospital after my sleeve 3kg heavier due to a lot of fluid retention. It's quite normal.
  4. It's not cheating it's living life. We can celebrate occasions without feeling any guilt.
  5. I completely agree with you. I'm 57 and had my sleeve 11 weeks ago. How I wish I had done this when I was in my 30s or 40s as I also feel like I missed out on so much due to my weight! Already feel its the best thing I've done and down 17kg (38 lb). I say go for it! It's a great tool to help with our weight loss journey
  6. I'd find a different practice. I have an amazing team who understand the realities of living including having sugar in our coffee or tea. Every team has different rules and mine encouraged fibre and large amounts of vegetables during my two week post op diet (I'm now 3 weeks post op and down over 11kg). So sorry you've not had a good experience with this person and if you can, try and find a team that suits you better and is happy to hear your concerns
  7. Yes! I've been feeling exactly the same. I'm day 19 post op and as so sick of liquids. I've been craving savoury foods so I've been living on different soups and adding different flavours like soy sauce to get some variety. sSimilar to you, anything sweet makes me feel sick. I don't know the answer but just want to say hang in there!
  8. Hi everyone I'm booked in for surgery 2nd September. Currently on pre op diet
