how much have you lost?

Have you lost weight from the banD?

I did propel gatorade packets, jello sugar-free (orange or green)...herbal teas, and thats it!! I had my band loosened the other day due to swelling and being overly tight (long story) So i gained ten lbs back!! OMG pray for me i don't want to gain back everything!! I go tuesday to get it fixed!

They aren't removing your brain!! You will be hungry! The ride home from the hospital i remember seeing a kfc sign...I don't even eat that crap...but knowing i couldn't...i got hungry.

The surg itself and recovery is a breeze. Its the not getting to eat for a while that is tricky. Make sure you have stuff to go while you are off work. Shopping, cleaning, activities to keep your mind off of food.

You might bleed on what ever clothes you wear from the hospital so make sure you don't care about them. Wear comfy nighty clothes so you aren't confined to your clothes.

I know right! not a fatty for miles in San diego!! I think if i were thin i would walk around naked all the time....so san diego here i come lol!! I won't move till i am a lot thinner...august i hope. The other bad thing i think!! is until you get your first fill...you are pretty much eating the same. I thought the day after surg i would be restricted and so full etc. not!! I was hungry and could put away alot! so don't get upset in the first month. most people lose after that point

what is their goal weight for you? is there any questions you have about the surg? I am a virgo so i asked a million and one questions....hahah

CHica!! We are so young and oh hell not THAT fat....but fat enough!!! I was 223 on weigh in and now 201 ad of wednesday. So i hope it keeps falling off. How are you? you banded yet? What has been your dieting journey?

AZ is brilliant. I might move out to San Diego here in June if i get into a bathing suit confidently lol!!! You don't have much to lose either!! Lap Band is guess people are thinner than Gastric...but i have seen some giant lapband patients too!! I had a 6 month reg tooo and it flew by especially if you want it that bad!! As far as things i wish people would have told me about surgery would be that there is shoulder pain from the gas they pump into your tummy while in surgery. The gas gets caught in your body and creates pressure on your should. It passes but still....GASSY!! and ouchy!!

Scottsdale Healthcare in Scottsdale AZ. I live here lol!! I was 223 on my surg day...i lost nothing pre op. yesterday i was 203. That is from 12/18 to 3/3 so not to shabby!!

You lost 50 with no restriction just the band? You men make me sick lol!!! I going at 1pm today to get some taken out....omg i am so dehydrated its gross!!

I had mine 12/18/08 and lost 20 as of yesterday. It pretty alright this lap bad thing!! Mine is so tight i can't drink water so i hope to go in today to loosen it to 5cc's its at 6 and killing me.
