  1. You've really put in the work girl! This is such a mental game and your game is strong. Good job and look forward to reading the rest.
  2. I had bypass surgery on the 1st. I'm feeling pretty human today and will try to sleep without the pain meds tonight. I had a drain port and that was taken out today. After that was removed, I've felt much much better. I'm not having a problem with liquids but proteins just don't agree with me at all. I'm hoping since I can move to milk based drinks tomorrow that will change.
  3. Good luck! I am having mine on November 1. I'm exited and nervous.
  4. Hi, I’m just starting the process as well. I’m both excited and nervous. Good luck and can’t wait to hear how you are doing along the way!
  5. Hi, I'm new here. I joined this forum with the expectation that my surgery was going to be about 10 months from now. I went to the surgeon today and I'm looking at two to three months from now. Which yay?!? I don't have to think about the what if's as long, but now I'm overly anxious about "holy crap, it's so soon I don't have time to prepare". I'm having the bypass which is what I went into the appointment expecting him to say I would need. I'm just nervous and jumping in head first reading all the posts. Thanks for sharing your stories, I didn't want to read them while being a creeper and not sharing mine.
