Super excited!!!
He is only 14 months right now, so he has a lot more to grow, but as of today he weighs in at 190 too! He got sick this weekend and lost 15 pounds!! He didn't eat one thing, and vomited a lot too. I felt horrible, although he loves the ring, so we went anyway! he is also 35 inches tall too

So i guess we are the Smashing Pumpkins! I like that as do many of you! SO....Welcome Smashing pumpkins! We are a group that is determined to smash the pumpkins that we hold in ourselves in all shapes and sizes. We will become the oriental pumpkins soon enough!!! I can't wait to have mine done! I am reading a lot of things on here that are making me second guess...such as a flipping of ports or other complications. Are they really that common?

Super excited!!!
Hello all;....my name is lauren cannon, i am the proud owner of a mastiff named titan who we show in the show ring...i am sooo excited that i had to do a quick brag. I handle titan myself, i get comments on how horrible i do and whatnot...just because i have only been doing this for 6 months. WELL.... Today we had a dog show, and we beat the #2 mastiff in the country!!!! We ended up with the best of winners dog...we are very excited. If anyone knows anything about dog shows, they will understand the politics of things, and being a newbie....it is almost impossible to win with all the Pro's. I beat the PRO's!!!!! I am so excited..ok that is it!

A Few Tips From A Slow Loser - Now Past Goal -
my dr. told me to eat at least 75g of protein per a day. find things before surgury that you can have that are super high in protein. but my question is, won't this kill your kidneys? I know that too high protein can lead to kidney failure...although that might just be in pets@! (sorry dog trainer here)

My husband wants to know "Will I lose My Boobs?"
My parents told me a long time ago, that when i loose my weight to target goal (they never said how) that they would help me get boobs. My whole family (2 other sisters and mom) are all well...well endowed. Then there is me...NOTHING. SO...once my bug bites go away, hopefully they will follow through...which i know they will (after all for my wedding last august 25 they got me a hummerzine!! my childhood dream!)

blue cross blue shield
I did talk to my dr. and we have been..well ...i have been waiting for a year to have bcbs approve my hospital to do LBS. (which has been approved, in june although the dr. had been doing it for years at his other office) (oh that is funny...lap band surgury....pounds (LBS)...sorry it is late) So you are saying that it depends on the company he works for? I know that we pay up the wazoo for my insurence. The company pays for his. We pay 100 a week for mine..well ok 85 a week for mine (feels like 100). So if we pay all that...then that means it is justified right? lol...jk. Ok...should i talk to the people at his work then? or what?

Would you guys recommend trying to do all liquid diet LONG before surgery? Ideas?
my dr. told me to go on a liquid diet 2 weeks before surgury because it helps shrink the fat on the liver. The less fat on the liver or surounding area means less chance of any other issues. At least that is what i was told

i can call them tommorow...perhaps i will call the dr. first, to see if any news. How long does it take for the insu. to get back to see if you are approved?
-
blue cross blue shield
um...i think that there are 30-40 people who work there...maybe a little more.

How the Lap-Band actually works, fills and refills
it means productive burping. It is not like throwing up at all...there is no stomach acid, no wretching....it is just a productive burp. Sliming is another word for it. It is just recently chewed food with saliva..that is it

Unfill and good news!
i think that when i get prego (said with the most loving way) that it will have to be once i get to my goal weight...that way at least i know i was there once!

Came out to family shy of my 5th year
i told my parents when i was thinking about getting the surgury, and they said..yeah ok whatever...didn't believe me. Now...(sorry to thread jack you!) but do i tell them the date? or do i just go through it and tell them later? I know that they would be supportive in the end, just the part of getting to the end that is the pain in the butt part!
