  1. I would check with your dr for sure (and report back). I routinely walk over 10k steps (a week post op now) and wonder what will happen when I bring lifting. How have you been feeling post work out?

  7. Anyone having surgery on the 27th? I am looking to connect with someone to just chat with :) If not, any helpful words of advice for me? I am wondering if I should take a stool softener the week leading up to surgery to I’m *cough* clear things out. Hahah

  9. Congrats!!! 7 days out!! I’m 11 days out. Have you tracked how much you have lost? I have a food based pre op. But have been doing a little liquid cause there is only so much rice and chicken a gal can eat.
  10. If you are ever worried about how much you hack most put 4 x 1lb bricks of butter in front of you. It’s a huge amount. Be gentle with your body. Also know everyone loses differently. Just keep at it!
  11. Know that this is all your choice. So what you feel Comfortable doing. But also know that thousands of these surgery’s are done annually. There are bound to be a few horror stores. But keep looking at the positive ones

  13. For sure. Keep busy and drink lots of water!! I found I got less snacks after day 3 or 4
  14. Eeetch. That is tough, but you I’ll drop weight like mad! So that is exciting!
  15. I have a solid food diet. So I have been following that fairly strictly. I have a small amount of oatmeal in the am. Apple and cheese for a snack. Chicken veg and rice for lunch. Wasa cracker and pb for second snack and more protein veg for dinner

  19. Just got booked for RNY Jan 27th!! This just got real Hahah. I have 3 weeks of pre op (help) now as my surgeon just switched. Wish me luck!
  20. Totally. Or a milk frothed. I don’t mix it with anything I can’t blend or shake. But once you get the hang of. It’s good :)
  21. Same here! just know that since there are no additives it may seem bland, that is where the bouillon comes in. Protein broth thats good for you tummy... yup .
  22. Yes!! you lucky duck Im in Canada so I guess its not on our amazon! but thats the guy!
  23. haha all good! I dont think it is on amazon, but you can order from the website! I am sure any broth would work, but this one has 20grams of protein ... not 8 like most!
