  1. Everything been great so far. My pre op diet was only one day full liquids. I was told my blood sugars will not take long to correct on its own. I normally wear my Dexcom. Day of surgery my sugar was 125. My doctor adjusted my insulin for my pre and post op. I take 4 shots a day. So far I haven’t had any lows. Blood sugars definitely been better. I have a sliding scale and a ratio to carb count. My incision look pretty good. Have 6. My A1c was 7.9 so not perfect. So far I been able to tolerate everything. That was my worst fear that I would suffer with lows and be unable to get it up but blood sugars definitely been stable.
