    I had the original, nonadjustable banding done. My husband's insurance does not cover weight loss surgery and the adjustable costs twice as much. The nonadjustable banding does carry the risk of pouch stretching. One of my friends had this problem. She would drink more than the four ounces of Fluid that you are allowed every hour and eventually she had problems. Good luck with your surgery on Thursday! Deb
