The ER did an ultrasound but no blood clots. My GP said it’s likely nerve pain and will fix itself, but I went ahead and made an appointment with a neurologist for this Thursday. Whatever it is I’d rather know sooner than later. At this point my thighs hurt more than my stomach ?

I spoke to my surgeon today his morning and he said that if it wasn’t better by the afternoon to go to the ER. He said he didn’t think it was a complication from the surgery. So I went to the ER and they did an ultrasound to check for blood clots. No blood clots: so they gave me some pain pills and sent me home to follow up with my surgeon again. I think I’m going to make an appointment with a neurologist. Now that blood clots are ruled out I think I should have my nerves checked out. That’s the only other thing I know to do

Me too! Its only my right calf, its been giving me problems since a couple days post op. Like liveaboard15 said, I believe it to be dehydration since I sometimes struggle with getting all my fluids in. Mine actually feels like a knot sometimes but there is nothing there so could be low potassium as well. Hard to say but no blood clot.
I also have a similar pair of leg massager's like pictured above and if my right calf acts up I usually get those out and put on both legs and it does help. Feels better afterwards, I usually do mine in the evening and go to bed afterwards. Especially if I have swelling.

I remember reading somewhere that that's happened to people (don't know how common it is, though). I believe it's temporary.

I dealt with this for about 2 weeks now on and off. Mainly in my calf area and also swelled. I thought it could have been a blood clot so i went to the ER last week and they did a ultrasound as well from the top of my leg all the way down and no clot. they said either dehydration and or just your body going thru changes with the surgery. tho my surgery was only 1 month ago. I did buy this massager for my calves and love it. I feel better after using it.
