Hey Paula, I was banded the same day and also have pain around the port site. To get up out of bed or off a chair is painful. I am hoping it calms down by Monday when I go back to work.

Howdy. I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. My surgery is on the 14th and I am excited too. Not real excited about the pre-op diet - but it will end. Hopefully we will be able to support each other - as I am a momma of 3 also.

Well, here I am. I'm nervous and excited about getting the lapband. I'm a widowed mom of 3 wonderful children and we live in College Station, TX. My surgery is scheduled for 8/14/08. My best friend had her band done late December and is doing awesome. Tomorrow I start my pro-op diet.... not looking forward to that at all... but it will be over before I know it Wish me luck :teeth_smile:
