  1. She doesn't like the fact that she has had mood swings ever since the surgery. And, she hates the whole 'no carbinated' drinks. I think this was the first surgery she's ever had and so alot of the side effects are generally tied to drastic changes in appearance, surgeries, and lifestyle changes. I don't think it's 'enough' to make me decide not to do it. No, I do not have 401k. I've pretty much been a student/homemaker for the past 14 years. So I have nothing to borrow from.
  2. I'm a 32 yr old mother of 3. I live in Texas and have been considering the lapband for a little over a year. One of my closest friends had hers done last year. She flew to Mexico to get it done. She's lost over 100 lbs but still adamently tells me NEVER TO GET IT DONE. With all her success and seeing it from an outside view, I understand her reasonings but also know that I want to change my lifestyle and experience a new me. I want to be there for my children LONG TERM. I've had so many health related issues because of my weight (currently at 235) and I want to be able to really transform my body and lifestyle. The current problem is that I have not-so-great credit (somewhat horrible) and do not have insurance. Anyone have any suggestions feel free to contact me. my user name at live dot com Thanks!!!!!
