GJ, You appear to be a very loving and concerned husband, but there are risks in everything you do in life. It sounds like your wife has had numerous medical procedure done in the past and was able to recover just fine. I have not been banded as of date but currently going through the process. I am so optimistic and ethusiastic about improving the quality of my life and omitting comorbidities. Congratulations on your 30lb weight loss and I wish your wife the best of luck as she moves forward to her band date. :cursing:

OMG!!! your slideshow of your weight loss is such an inspiration. I'm currently going through the process and hope to be banded soon. I'm sooo nervous. I'm scared that I may not loose the weight, but after seeing your slideshow I'm more optimistic about the procedure. Congratulations on weight loss!!!!

Hi Lizalee, I'm currently going through the process. I had my Psch Eval 7/19 & scheduled to see the dietician 8.6 at Sinai. I will be banded by Dr. Choua also. Your weight is such an inspiration. How long did it take you to get banded after going through the process?
