I was banded 9/2/08, and in the process of taking new 2 month post op pics today. I also wear the same clothes and use the same poses. Seeing the difference no matter how slight is very motivating to me.

Greetings, I know this has been addressed previously and everyone is different. I was allowed to move to regular foods a few days early due to losing weight at a rapid pace, 31 pounds since surgery (9/2/08). Now it seems like the weight loss has stalled. I've increased the level and intensity of excercise and make it to the gym 5 or 6 days a week. I am not complaining, but just wondering how long it takes your body to re-adjust to food and get back to losing weight. My caloric intake is now approx. 1200 calories a day, up from 800-1000.

Quick few questions, surgery date was 9/2. As of this morning I am down 29LBS. Is that normal? Am I losing too fast? Also is it normal to still feel restriction as this point? Still on mushies and I limit my self to 1/2 cup at a meal which is more than enough, however when eating Soup I feel I could eat more? One last question, all liquids seem to go down well with the exception of skim milk, if I drink more that 4 ounces in 30 minutes I feel uncomfortable. Thanks in advance for you responses.

After have my surgery postponed for a week, finally made it to the post- op side! Came home yesterday, and having a a rough day today, gas pain in my shoulders, difficult to get liquids down, been working on same 12 ounces for 3 hours now. Also pain in the large incision sight which I am hoping is normal? How long does it take ot feel good again? All things considered, went better than I expeced.

Curious if anyone had there surgery postponed do to high ferritin count. And if so, what was the treatment and how long was the surgery delayed? Thanks in advance for any 1st hand experience you can share.

Found out this afternoon, I will have my surgery Tuesday morning:thumbup:!!!! What is the best tasting shake for post op diet? I've been reading posts on this site for many months now, thanks to all that share information.

Greeting All, I've been on this site for the several months learning as much as I can. After 6 months and 2 appeals, I was finally approved by my insurance provider. My pre-op visit is in a week and half, hopfully surgery 1-3 weeks later.
