Almost in the same situation as Ganuple, but neither of our spouses know. The problem now is we were doing it just for sex, but we have fallen in love and want to move forward together.

One week into my Pre-Surgery Diet of Protein Drinks, my vision got blurry. I was hoping that my vision would return to normal after the surgery. I hope my vision does NOT get any more blurry - I won't be able to see! I hate this, I'm having a hard reading and watching TV. :thumbup:

:thumbup: Thursday night I got the BAD news!! Bloodwork showed high enzymes and low platates. Surgery had to be cancled until all my Dr's consulted. Friday morning instead of having surgery I was getting a CTScan instead. Dr called me in the afternoon, they found I have an enlarged spleen. Dr's feel they can continue and surgery has been rescheduled for Tuesday the 12th at 1:30pm. They will make a clinical decission when they go in on Tuesday, whether it's safe to place the band or not. Please Band Sister pray for me and my surgery-that it will be safe for them to band me. I have been looking forward to this surgery and been so excited about finally having a solution to losing weight. Thank you and will keep you all updated.

I'm so excited!!! Did my pre-surgery visit with my Dr yesterday, preregistered at hospital, did my xray and did all my bloodwork as well. Scheduled for 8AM. Wish me luck and keep me in your prayers. Thanks! :thumbup:

Located in CC, Tx. Surgery scheduled for this coming Friday with Dr. Glenn Griffin. Really excited. Went & purchased everything for my post-diet! Any advise?

Thank you Moe and Gilta for sharing. I'm getting exciting and nervous - I'm having my Friday - Wish me luck and say a little prayer for. I have NEVER had surgery, so the whole thing is new to me. Keep us posted with your success and hopefully my story will be as wonderful as yours. :smile:

My surgery day is 08/08/08! Doing my pre-op diet now. I've been on it since last Friday, somedays, I have gotten a little hungery.
