Thank you, but it was Bypass not lap band

So my bariatric doctor is trying to convince me to get the sleeve instead of the Bypass, which I thought would be better for me being that I have GERD & a hiatal hernia. He says he can fix my hiatal hernia and after he fixes it, I would be fine and won’t develop another hernia. Now I’m confused and not sure which surgery would be the best for me. Has anyone who’s had the sleeve ever developed a second hiatal hernia after it was originally fixed during a sleeve surgery?.

Hi everyone, sorry about the TMI but just had a Q about constipation after surgery. Can one use castor oil as a laxative in place of store brands if their are issues going on a regular after surgery.

Hi guys, this is my first time on this forum. I found out about this site from reading it in a Bariatric Surgery information book. I’m considering gastric bypass because of my GERD. I’m in process to getting all my clearances. I should be finished by April. Hoping to have the surgery by the Summer. Has anyone who’s had GERD been healed after the surgery? Any other advice about this procedure. Thanks ?
