  1. I had the sleeve the day after you did. I'm also having trouble staying hydrated. I've just switched to drinking the Gatorade for a bit. I hope you're feeling better. Also I eat Popsicles.
  2. Hey I had gastric sleeve on 9/27. Looking for buddies.
  3. I was scheduled to have surgery in March and I was planning to cheat the system and work from home. My surgery was cancelled and looking back I'm glad. I am currently 2 weeks post op and return this week. I needed the time to get my mind together, rest, and watch movies. I had vsg gastric sleeve and took 2 weeks off. If I truly needed to I could have returned 2 days later because I didn't feel too bad.
  4. Another great idea! ?:)
  5. Yes. I can have yogurts, shakes broths. I'm getting the sleeve. I was set on the bypass but my doctor was concerned about my iron levels long term. So we switched to sleeve. It's next Wednesday! ?
  6. Thank you all so much! I am moved by the support ? I just made a care.com account and found someone. She responded really fast and we spoke. She is OK with picking me up super early and picking me up after surgery. The hospital is a good drive but she does not mind. Today is my say day 1 of liquids surgery is next week! I hope this thread will help others. I'm new here too lol
  7. Hi, My family and friends have do not support my surgery they want me to do it naturally. I have no one to take me to the surgery or pick me up from discharge. I asked the nurse if I could take an uber after discharge. She said to try to have someone to pick me up. ?Just seeing what you all suggest/ ideas. Thank You
