  1. Hi all ! I'm a very new to this okay a little about myself. I am 27 married and well I am over weight about 300 pounds. I am looking into getting the lapband surgery but with my insurance not wanting to cover it I have to appeal it. I have gone to a few meetings but I am still worried about getting it done. What if I can never eat the food's I like. I don't know what to expect. I hear things from some people but I like to have feed back from anyone that has had the lap band done. Thanks Priscilla
