I am 2 months post op RNY and I don’t have any appetite. I’m struggling. I had surgery then6 weeks out got Covid so I’m sure Covid had some play in it. But even now eating just makes some So uncomfortable. I am staying hydrated but I am struggling getting protein. I’m truly trying. Forcing myself to eat.
Has anyone else had this happen? Any tips?
Thank you!
My starting weight was 252, surgery weight was 236, today I am 212. I will be 6 weeks on Tuesday. I dont see much movement on the scale the last week or so however I can see other changes in my body.
they told me as long as I’m eating/drinking, normal outputs, and no fever, vomiting etc, it’s normal and will last up to 8 weeks. To make sure I’m staying hydrated (which I am!) otherwise Tylenol. & if anything else changes to cal back. I have my 1 month follow up Tuesday over video. So I guess that’s that!

I am 1 month post op, and having pain to my right lower abdomen that is radiating to my back. It lingers mostly on my right side. I was off pain meds after a few days, however this pain started about a week ago and is continuing. Has anyone else experienced this? I had an RNY on 12/21z
Thanks!!!
