  1. I'm Robb I live in St. Pete. I am currently on job assignment in the Middle East, i am planning on being home in Feb for two weeks and have my surgery then. I will be a cash customer for it. I have not started searching for a doc yet, but price will be a deciding factor. I am open to having the surgery outside the U.S. if there is a huge cost difference. If you have any advice on docs, please feel free to pass them along.
  2. I dream of being described as "average" I hate being fat
  3. I am a Master Licensed Electrician working in the Marshall Islands, I am the lead electrician in our power plant and part time control room operator. I am also an avid scuba diver, wreck diver, and full cave diver too. I am looking to do it in New Delhi India for the surgeryu around March 09, or June 09 depending on vacation schedules here.
  4. HI, The reason for India at this time is because I am alot closer to India than Mexico, I am on job assignment in the Marshall Islands, which is near Guam. So, India is closer, and cheaper to fly to from here, compared to Mexico. Mexico r/t 3k, New Delhi r/t 1700.00 Robb
  5. HI, I am also going to have mine done in India, I have been working with healthbasee also, and India seems to be the cheapest in the Pacific rim area where I am located. I am also a self-pay, and cost has to do with it too. Please let me know how it went since Health Base will probably refer me to the same doc. I have another place I emailed that was about 500.00 dollars cheaper than health base. If you would like to see it, send me an IM with your email address and I will forward it to you. Again, Good Luck in India. Robb. P.S. what hospital are you going too?
  6. Hi Everyone, I am considering my lap-band in India at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi. Has anyone had thiers done there? Thier cost is only 6,200.00 USD, compared to other facilities in Thailand, Phileapeans, and Malaysa which varied from 9,500.00 to 14,000 USD. I am a U.S. citizen from Chicago Il, But I am out in the Pacific on a job assignment between Hawaii and Guam. I am also a self-pay. I am looking to do this in either March 09 or June 09 depending on vacation schedules. I am about 100 lbs over weight, and have been big all of my life. Thanks, Robb
  7. Thank You for the info. I will do some research on thier site. Robb P.S. Bumrungrad came back with a quote to me in email at 19500.00-21,000.00 USD
