  1. Hi Crystal, I am new to this site and waiting to be banded. I was reading your old post regarding your fear of MRSA. Just curious, did you go through with the surgery and how are you? I too have had 2 active mrsa infections and am really worried about having the band site get infected too. thanks! Karen in Maine
  2. Hi AppleBottom! I am new to this site and waiting patiently for my Dr.'s appt for banding. Like you, I work in a hospital and share you concerns about MRSA. I fell off my horse last year and broke my arm. I Was healing fine and developed a MRSA infection and had to have the whole thing reopened ( I have plate and screws etc holding me together lol!) Anyway, since I've had 2 MRSA infections in the past year I am wondering if/how this might effect my future surgery? Any info anyone might have would be helpful. Thanks!
  3. Hi Dee, I am new here and just read your thread. I am waiting for Dr. Wolfe to do my surgery. I see the dietician aug 6th. Geez this does take a long time. ! How are things with you.
  4. Hi There, I just joined here. I am waiting to be banded by Dr. Wolf. I meet with the dietician Aug 6th. I have been doing the monthly weigh in's with my pcp and working hard at being patient through this process. It is hard to wait. How are things going with you?
  5. Hello All, I am a newbie here. Awaiting banding from Dr. Wolfe here in Portland Maine. I have my first appt with the Dietician August 6th and I am very excited. I'm trying to loose a little weight and exercise. The waiting is the hardest part. Would love to chat with anyone and esp folks here in Maine! Thanks!:smile2:
