I paid $3300 AUD for the surgeon and assistant, $800 for anaethetist and Australian unity paid the rest. I think the surgeons fee gap can diifer as I had a quote of $1800 from a surgeon in queensland, I just went with who I felt had the most experience. The quote without insurance was about $16000. Al

Hi everyone from Oz. My name is Alan. I am 10 days post op and 12kg lighter (thanks to Optifast and liquid diets). I am finding that I have wind (gas/cholic) that builds up during the day and by dinner time I am in pain. Can anyone tell me why and or suggest a solution beside quick eze and Gas tablets??
