It's interesting to see everyone's differences in post op diet . I'm craving lo mein but still haven't eaten anything . I need more than clear liquids / protein shakes though and seem to be tolerating them pretty well . Doctor said if I still find myself hungry after the shakes I can try some yogurt . Was thinking of grabbing some yogurt and maybe some cream of wheat if I don't make it too thick .

I am on liquid Tylenol ? I have been walking a lot still trying to drink baby sips and even drove down the block ( big mistake lol I won't be doing that again for a week or so) . I am hoping it gets a little better. I did make the protein shake and was able to easily take 4-5 sips, 1 every 10 minutes . Today I'll try again . It's been so rough ! Thank you for your kind words !?

Having such a hard time since my VSG 2 days ago ... feeling pain everytime I take a baby sip of water or Gatorade ... was supposed to start up on shakes again today but just couldn't bring myself to do it . No vomiting yet but came pretty close with liquid Tylenol and water . Couldn't even take my whole dose . Any tips on how to make it easier ? The pain I know isn't gas it's from my stomach not being there ... but f**k it hurts so bad . It rises to my chest and all over my abdomen . How have you guys gotten through ?

Have my gastric sleeve surgery scheduled for October 25, I lost over 50 pounds dieting up until this point . Just started my 2 week pre op liquid diet . I'm am obsessing over having penne vodka with chicken ONE more time before it's time . Surgery 11 days away . Will ONE meal truly affect me 11 days from now if it's the ONE and ONLY time ? Thoughts ? I'm dying over here ???

Surgery scheduled 10/25 on day 3 of my pre op liquid diet and really going crazy craving pasta. I feel like if I get it out of my system I will be fine the rest of the time but am scared if I eat it today it will affect me 11 days from now . Any input on a one time cheat during that pre op liquid only window?
