  1. Wow! Congrats! Hope it went well! I was banded April 22. I'm down about 40 pounds. It has definitely changed my habits and actually makes me feel more in control, less powerless over my life. I'd still like to lose another 100 at least so we'll see! We have a great support group here in Bloomington that meets twice a month if you're ever interested in a road trip. For the first two weeks, I highly recommend Carnation Instant Breakfast, Jello, popsicles and broth! Let me know how you're doing! Good luck!!!
  2. Hi LeAnne. I'm about twice your age but I live in Bloomington and just wanted to say hello. Have you had your surgery?
  3. I did a lot of what was already mentioned: tuna salad, scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, applesauce. But I also did soups. Progresso's lentil soup pureed in a blender was great; lots of protein and fiber. Campbells Select soups, they come in a box (John Lithgow does their commercials) are good options too with great flavors like Butternut squash soup and a great tomato soup. Already mushy enough to eat. Good luck!
