I would encourage your friend to see Dr Alverdy from University of Chicago hospitals, he is truly the best. I went to another Dr and now I have many regrets...............warning do not use Dr Rossett ..........the after care is horrible, you can't get a return phone call and he doesn't like to give any fills....................my surgery was done without filling my band and he has only filled it once since my surgery and its been 6 months!!!!!!!

:thumbup: Hi Alicia......I am wondering how your process is going, I used the same center in July and my experience with them has been a little less than positive and I am wondering if it is the same for everyone or is it simply personal...........I am very frustrated and in Chicago.......Help!

If you are on any medication, ask your Pharmacist if they come in a liquid form or a crushable form (yuck) I was told that I can't swallow any whole pills for a month. Good Luck

No one told me that I couldn't swallow whole pills for a month or that I would be sore for 2 weeks after surgery!
