2 weeks post op gastric sleeve. When does it get easier? I’m having trouble getting even half my water in. Part of me wonders what the hell did I do. I have no hunger at all, to the point where I have to focus my priority to take in a shake and last 2 days I can only do half a shake at a time. And the throwing up heaving seems to be more snd more often. My first post op in on Wednesday but I’m wondering if anyone else has gone through this and when I should expect to be better. I feel like my relationship with food has worsened to being afraid to eat or drink anything . Kinda low right now. Weights coming off, but now I wonder at what cost.

Surgery went well. Got a hematoma in my larger incision and there was a severe shooting pain so spent an extra night at the hospital. But after a full night sleep and the dr applying a binder and ice packs, I woke up today feeling much better and ready to go hone. Walked around. An tolerating the 1 ounce at a time fluids (mainly water and broth) & passing gas - never thought I’d be excited about that. Lol. Overall feeling good, despite the sometimes judgmental looks or comments from the staff about being a cash patient. But overall staff has been good and I can’t say enough about my Dr. his bedside manner, advice, availability even late at night has been an absolute blessing. ❤️

Any advice? Anyone rec'd it and then hated the results - or had any issues? I'm a self pay - BMI is 33.5 and I have high BP, pre-diabetes, and anxety. Wondering what others experienced - especially those with similar story...LMK.
