Hi there, Has my surgery on the 7th of September. My doctor had me start out with drinking 1/2 a bottle of magnesium citrate and that did the job! Since then he also told me to use miralax as needed. Hope you feel better soon! ☺️

Had my sleeve completed 9/7 and my doctor has me taking Eliquis twice daily for 14 days. It’s interesting to see how different doctors handle post op care.

Hopefully, some of you out there can share your experiences post surgery in regards to your initial weight loss. 🧐 I had my WLS last week on 9/7, so I’m about 9 days post op. With that said, I’m excited about my journey but a little concerned. As of this morning I have lost approximately 18.7 lbs since my surgery date. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that I’m dropping weight, I just wasn’t expecting to lose so much in such little time. 😳 Any feedback would be appreciated!

I literally feel your pain! I had my surgery 9/7 and my neck/shoulders have been killing me as well. Not sure what's going on, perhaps all that time on an uncomfortable gurney and hospital bed? Anyways, my husband has been rubbing my neck and shoulders with a topical CBD cream each night. It definitely has been helping me along! Hope you feel better soon! 😊

My pain is subsiding as the days go by. I still have tenderness around my incisions but it’s not unbearable. It seems that the gas I’ve had internally has caused me more pain. I had the gastric sleeve performed last week. I’ve been able to drink a few ounces of protein per day, but concerned I’m not getting enough. I can assume that’s why I still feel weak and sluggish. Other than all that…lol, I am hanging in there with a little smile.

I'm 1 week post-op today. So far it's ok, I'm just concerned that I have not been able to reach my daily fluid intake of 64 ozs. The gas is finally subsiding so that's a plus. Just trying my best to take things one day at time. I tend to be hard on myself, so I am really trying not to beat myself for not reaching my fluid intake yet.
