  1. I am scheduled for my first Dr appointment tomorrow and I am a bit nervous. My primary care Dr wrote a letter recommending me for the surgery. What kind of questions do I ask the Dr? What is he sees no need in me having the surgery? I am 5"9" and I weigh 292 lbs and my BMI is 41 or 42. I have to say that I am so nervous. There have been several people that I work with that have had the surgery and the insurance has paid for it.
  2. I am a 45 yr old female. I am 5' 9'' and I weigh 290 lbs. I have been up and down with my weight for over 20 years. I have tried every diet known to man. I will lose weight and do great for a while and then I gain it back plus more. What makes this diet better than all the rest? How is this diet going to work for me? I am desperate?
  3. I am from the Searcy area, and we have a Dr Gibbs here in Searcy that will be doing my surgery. I have not gotten a date set yet, but hopefully it will be soon.
  4. Hello I am new to this forum. I have an appointment on July 16th to meet with the surgeon. I am excited and scared both. I desperately need this surgery. I have a BMI of 42. I so want to be around to watch my grand babies grow up. I need encouragement and advice on this whole process. Glad to be here!!!
