  1. I am 6 weeks post op and I had a mini gastric bypass. At this point am supposed to be able to eat everything but if I eat I spoon of something or the smallest amounts I get the worst chest pain and I immediately need to vomit! From the first bite I can feel the “foamy” coming up and it makes me more nauseous. I chew till my jaw cracks and I eat with a kids spoon so I dont know what to do tbh. I am so scared that I’ll be like that forever and wont be able to eat properly again! ( I can easily keep down liquids. Ice water is my best friend atm cause it help with the nausea a lot ). Please let me know if you’ve been through this or know what would help.
  2. Congratulations on your surgery! I had the same shoulder pain when I got my surgery too, I’m one month post op and I can go a whole day without food cause I dont feel hunger so I forget to eat lol! The pain and tiredness gets better with time. Stay positive x
  3. I’m one month post op and I just started eating and slowly getting hungry. Every time I eat I feel a weird pain in my chest and stomach I dont know if that’s normal tbh cause I take super small bites and I chew well too. I have my second follow up in November so I’ll ask my doctor if it doesn’t get better till then.
  4. Hello, This is my first time writing anything on here so I hope I do it right! So I had my mini gastric bypass on the 18th of August 2021 and since then I got my period twice and both times it lasted 8 days! and there is one week break between them and my actual period ended on the 12th. so that's 22 days of bleeding in one month and a half. I know these things can happen post-op but the weird thing is my last period ended on the 15th of September and I just started again 4 days later!! I'm very worried and confused tbh... If anyone knows if this is normal or not please let me know or if you have any suggestions on what might help.
