  1. oh poor you!! but at least it was found not just overlooked. So far WGA has been 1st class so Im sure you are in safe hands.Enjoy the time off from work and rest so you are well enough for your band. Take care. Cx

I had my band on 15th July with WGA and have also got to have an x-ray at the spire hospital on thur 31st july at 6.30pm! what time have you got? that means im only 2 weeks and 2 days post opp!! its sound like they are on the ball with the x-rays. !!!   5. Hi Kerri. Just got banded with WGA last tuesday 15th and everything was perfect. Nurses were top and i got first class care i also had the same surgeon as you are having and i couldnt fault anything , i was really looked. good luck you will be fine C x
  6. you will be fine at Dolan park-i had no problems just first class care. and as a Nurse I was on the ball with them but couldnt fault them. good luck for tomorrow im sure you will be fine. C x
  7. hi i was also banded at dolan park on Tue 15th and the care that was given was top!! I feel much better today but like you have the trapped wind-even when drinking water it hurts. I hope that it will pass soon as its the only downside of the whole thing. weighted myself yesterday in boots and have lost 13 pounds.......!!!! hope you wind goes soon. C X
  8. thanks for your reply. i also have children and a baby so know what you mean about the risks ect. will keep you undated- are you hungry on thet pre op diet?
  9. After reading everyones comments Im sure that Im doing the right thing-however I do feel terrified of the surgery and things going wrong. My consultant is Mr Sigursson and really seems to know what he's doing(I should hope so) Have read some bad feedback on THG however im opened minded and know that there is good and bad reviews with everything in life. family and close friends say that im bad getting the band i should just diet but ive done all the diets under the sun lose the weight then gain it again. I just what a weight that I can stick too and be happy.......:biggrin:
