I would ask your doc. I do liquid, protein shakes and whey protein in bone broth or blenderized, strained soups. I’m just 1 week out.

Well we have one thing in common. I have yet to be HUNGRY. No cravings though.

I’m looking forward to eventually riding roller coasters with my son, traveling, buying smaller clothes and for my blood pressure to go down!

I’ve had a squeezing feeling since day two. Whether I’m drinking or not. I do notice that it is VERY strong when I should be putting something into my body. Ex. Protein shake. Once I start sipping on a protein shake it calms down. Honestly I’ve got nothing else to indicate that I’m hungry. ??♀️

I didn’t go until day 5 and that was after taking miralax on day 4

Just bought some. It was on list of approved liquids. I’ll come back with an update once I’ve sipped ?

And I say finally because I been trying to find someone talking about this “squeeze” since the day after my surgery. Glad to know I’m not alone

Finally. My surgery was august 2nd. I have that same squeeze. I honestly believe it’s my queue to get something into my stomach as I’m not feeling hungry but I know I have to fuel my body. Today I’m following the exact scheduled (suggested) outlined in my book and I feel less of the squeeze. Try to get your protein in and sip liquids throughout the day whether you want to or not (within limit).

august 2nd- I haven’t hit my water intake yet since being home. I either hit my protein or come very very close. Pain is ok… there’s a pulling in my stomach of course when I stand and do things. I have one incision that has been giving me heck since surgery (it’s the most painful and most tender but gets better by the day). It’s my largest one. also does anyone experience a squeezing feeling? The squeezing is stronger in the middle of the night so I wake up and start sipping water.
