I go back to my surgeon in June and that’s number one on my list to ask.

I had no idea!! My surgeon is anti-nsaids. I honestly feel if taken with food; they wouldn’t be less likely to do harm but what do I know. Interesting read. Thank you!!

I’m a few weeks shy of being a year out from my surgery and I dealing with arthritis pain and tmj. Everything I’m reading says I can’t use voltaren cream for my arthritis. Will we ever be able to use some form of nsaids for certain medical conditions? Some things I read say some can be used some time after vsg (def not recommended within the first 30 days) but then even more studies say never again. the tmj I’m dealing with so far without medication. sorry just had a moment of blah.

I swear I should just buy stock into the hair spray lately lol

What kind of shampoo are you using?

Yeah I have healthy hair other than the falling out from surgery. I’m due for my regular perm so won’t be doing it sooner than normal. Guess I am just worried if the chemicals would do anything in this phase. I hated my thinning hair before surgery. Lol

I already had very thin hair before surgery. I always perm my hair to add volume. I am 5 months out and have been losing hair for the last month. Has anybody permed their hair during this phase?

I was instructed to take 1 One A Day vitamin plus my vitamin D. I am just worried that’s not enough. Just curious to what others take on a daily basis.

I had my first cucumber and tomato this week. Absolutely delicious lol So thankful to finally be on regular foods.

Never tried butter lettuce. Usually romaine or iceberg. Will def try romaine first to round.

I have been lucky in that aspect as well. Knock on wood.

I’m 6.5 weeks post op and have been wanting a salad since day one. I may tempt a few bites this weekend just to satisfy the craving.

When did you start eating salads again?? I have been craving a salad for weeks. Just a plain old house salad. My dr suggests patients wait for 3 months and start with shredded lettuce. You guys; I just want a salad! ?

Today was my first day! I walked 2 miles. I was shocked how fast I walked it. When I looked at my steps I was like holy cow. Tomorrow I will tackle some of the machines. Tuesday and Thursday’s I have decided will be my walking days.
