  1. mine is at 10 am the same day, was not nervous but the closer Monday comes the more I think about it :blink:wishing it was already over. This time last year if you would have asked me how much I weighed I would have been 110 pounds heavier. Been a long ride, and having to get new cloths is becoming a chore

    Need some advice

I used the HCG diet for my 6 month diet and it worked for me, when I hit the wall with a stall I would have an apple day. I got to eat 6 large apples , with nothing to drink or eat other than the apples. the next morning I would be back on track and losing weight again, as for the Proteins I would eat organic extra lean pork, chicken or steak limited to 3 oz precooked weight. Also was on 500 calories a day. makes the 800 I am on now easy to do lol. I am doing the liquid diet and get to go in Monday morning to have my surgery. It was what worked for me. Hope it helps.
  3. Well never figured i get on the scale this morning and seeing i have lost 99 pounds already. All am am really doing and seems to be working for me is cutting out soda, and replacing them with Water, herbal teas and crystal light. Stoped drinking beer, eatting bread, Pasta, and etc. Was hard to do but it does get easyer, also switched to an all organic diet made up of lean meats, chicken and white flaky fish. Also eat alot of salads, and apples. and instead of 3 big meals a day i eat 6-7 smaller meals which 6 months ago i would call Snacks Have also started using Protein shakes to get used to them for the hope to be up coming WLS. Oh and i have replaced food items like salt and vinger potato chips with a bag of lettuce and some salad vinegar. To take care of the crunchie munchies. Sorry for the long winded banter.
  4. I am on month 5 of the same thing. From what i under stand of my insurance requirements, i cannot show any gains during the time period, loosing wieght is okay. Reckon it all depends on your insurance requirements.
  5. Hiya, was just wondering what others have done diet wise for there 6 month diet requirement from thier insurance company. I have been on a supervised HCG diet through a local office here in my town and can not complain about the results so far.
  6. You all are making me hate my insurance company lol
  7. Gratz to all of you, hoping to be in your shoes in the next month or two.
  8. First of all would like to thank everyone that posts here, the information is first rate. I am sort of new here posting wise, but have been reading the posts almost on a daily basis. Now that the months have gone by it almost seems surreal. The closer i get to the 6 month mark the more i find myself thinking, do i really want to have this done? I reckon i just wanted to ask how others have over come the little voice in the back of there head doubting there choices. PS: We do say" I reckon" down here
