Well... My doctor just left the practice. In an earlier post I discussed how he said 21lbs four weeks after surgery was disappointing and how he wanted me to lose 15lbs by the next time I was to see him (2 weeks) So both the doctor and NUT all seem to be on the same boat with this.

You guys between my surgeon and now my NUT they have been giving me unrealistic goals. It's very disappointing.

Exactly. I thought 300 was way too low for this stage and you won't lose weight. Im so confused??

Hi guys. My 2 month post op sleeve appointment was today. My NUT said that I should be consuming only 300 calories a day and no snacking (not even a high in protein snack). Can anyone share their daily calories at the 2 month mark?

Oh wow. Thanks for thinking of me. Crazy thing is... I got a letter in the mail yesterday stating that he was leaving the practice. ?The chart above seems more realistic then the #s he was throwing at me. Thanks guys!!

I guess my surgeon is just in another world or something. He said in the next two weeks he needs to see 15 lbs down. I'm just going to do what I've been doing & focus on what I am losing without the pressure.

Wow!... I guess my surgeon is just weird. For my next appointment in two weeks...he said to lose at least 15 more lbs. Smh... I'm just going to focus on eating right and walking and protein like I've been doing! Thank you!

Lol.. thank you! Yes I eat between 600-700 calories a day as well. It was really discouraging because I thought I was doing something wrong. I just want to have the best results to meet my goal weight.. but him saying that to me wasn't encouraging.. but thank you friend.

Hi everyone. Yesterday marked my 4 week post op since my surgery date on June 17th. I had the sleeve. I have lost a total of 21 lbs since then. I felt good until I left my 4 week appt. yesterday & my surgeon said I didn't lose enough and he wanted to see me lose more. I've been down since then. I thought I was doing well. Does anybody know the average weight loss for 4 weeks?

I appreciate all the positive advice! Were any of you guys feeling this way in the early days?

Thank you guys for the support! This early on it just seems like it's sooo long before it gets better. I can't wait until it gets easier & I hit my goal.

Hi everyone. I am 16 days post op. I am having a difficult time not craving food. Commercials, my family's meals, are all triggers. Today one of my family members had a cook-out.. I stayed home. I feel alone, sad and regretful having this surgery. I know theres no turning back now.. how do I move forward?
