I love this thread! I am anxious to see what life it like one year from now!

I can totally relate! I am just 8 weeks post-op and I am amazed sometimes at how little I can eat now, compared to how much I ate before. I honestly thought my eating habits before were "not that bad". I'm realizing now how bad they really were. Good luck with your plan..... figuring it out as you go!! I call mine "trial and error"

Yes! Exactly. Everyone is great so I hate even saying I feel alone in it.... maybe the way you are saying it makes more sense, no one can relate. Thank you!! I think I will look into a bariatric therapist... that sounds like a good idea. Thanks so much for responding!

June 29!! Exactly 2 weeks away! I am so ready to take the next step on this journey! I start my pre-op liquid diet on Saturday.... I'm a little nervous about that, but overall I am so excited. I do have a question - even with your supportive friends and family - did (or do) you feel a little bit alone in the process? I'm not sure how to explain it, I'm hoping people going through it (ie. all of you) will underatand what I mean. Good luck everyone!!!
