  4. I have only lost 40lbs. I try not to get discouraged, I go to the gym and to the park to work out. Then there’s others that say they never stepped a foot in the gym. I still have 42 pounds to lose to be at my goal weight. Hope everyone else is doing good.

  7. Hello everyone I have a question, Am I the only one that is fighting the urge to want to eat food. I know it’s only a mind thing, but that’s what I am going thru right now. No pain no issues only dealing with the thought of food mentally.

  9. Yes I agree. you guys have to be careful, on all my paperwork from my doctor it says NO STRAWS. At my one week visit they stress that if I want to know don’t hesitate to call their office. Be careful and take care of yourselves. Happy healings.
  10. I like the Campbell soup liquid as well drink it daily. But I am confused with the cream of wheat. How do I eat it?

  14. I know this is tmi but I wanted to know if anyone is experiencing the same thing. Okay so, I don’t wear deodorant only if I am going to work so somewhere important or that I will sweat. I mean like if I am in the house for a week I won’t wear deodorant that whole week just regular showers and I won’t have no body odor period. So after the surgery I notice I had a body odor which I never had before. And it continues even after I bathed and I literally scrub scrub my under arms. Now I am noticing the smell other places. Has anyone experienced this. I am trying not to panic. Please help

  18. I sleep on my back and side with no pain. I slept on my stomach before the surgery but I don’t think trying that is a good idea. I am 3days post op I think and I am fine just still dealing with gas and getting all my fluids down mostly the 2/3 sips and feeling funny. I was told in the hospital to set my alarm every 15 mins so I have been trying to do that. I hope everyone has a speedy recovery. And I am down 13lbs from the start of pre op diet. I see other has drop more but I am not letting it bother me. Just trusting the process. My biggest issue I WANT FOOD. I think I am handling it ok.

  21. I just got home yesterday. So today I am trying to take sips. Had a few sips of protein shake, 3 tablespoons of sugar free jello, hot chicken noddle soup liquid, sugar free popsicle and got my liquid multivitamin down but not my calcium and b12 I have to crush them up or chew them. Idk I am trying to get use to this new stomach. I can tell when I have took too many sips as I start to feel funny. I have a lot more liquids I need to get down.

  24. Yes your stomach does look good. I am glad I am not the only one. I am grateful because others had it worst but I just was so confused. I have had liposuction and it hurt way worst. I guess everyone is different. I quickly just learned about drinking too much, doesn’t feel good. Wishing you a speedy recovery. We got this!!
  25. Thank you. I will be discharged soon and have a 45mins ride??‍♀️ So I hope it is not too bad.

  27. Hello everyone, as I stated before I was scheduled for surgery today so I wanted to provide an update. I came in at 8:45am was scheduled to come a 9:30am did all my pre surgery stuff. Need to get 2 IVs nurse could only find one. The second one was place in while I was in surgery. I went to surgery around 11:50/12. When I came to it was almost 3pm. My stomach was kinda in pain but nothing extreme. I was giving a pain medicine n it was better. I kept falling asleep and waking up. After maybe 2 hours I came to my room and ask can I walk, I handsome doctor said sure. I walked a good distance with no assistance. I came back to my room and now laying down. I am so confused because it doesn’t feel like I just had surgery my stomach just feel weird not really pain more like discomfort. But for the most part everything went well. I don’t know how I am up like nthg happen.
