I’m so happy I had my surgery, I don’t feel like a new person as yet but so glad I can fit into some nice looking clothes that are not leggings. My surgeon said that the reason they do liquid diets in the US, it’s because it allows the size of the organs to shrink so during the operation there are less risks. I hope that all goes well for October. I had to be operated in February but due to COVID, it was pushed back twice.

No not really, I had to follow up with a nutritionist for 6 months in Order to sort out and rebalance my eating habits. By doing so, I lost 10kg by watching what I eat. But surgeon said no liquid diet required. Just no food in my stomach 12 hours before surgery

I’m scheduled for June 3rd

My surgery date is in June 3rd! My current weight is 109,4kg but my highest weight was 117kg. I spoke to my surgeon on Monday (May 17th) about liquide diet pré-op, he said in France this is not necessary. It’s done in US countries. So no liquide is required for me.
