  3. I had lap band surgery in 6/09. I initially lost 40 lbs. Things in my life changed drastically and I didnt take care of myself. I have lived with the band without fills or counseling since then. I have been throwing up, restriction, and nausea during that time. Last week I went to my surgeon and he acted like nothing was wrong and that I just needed a fill. I had an ultrasound of my stomach this week, and scheduled for a fill next week. I was kind of blown away by this. Are people still successful with the lap band. Is there anyone else who has gone back to the fills after a long period of time? Not sure where to start with this. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thank you!
