Ok Ladies... I have a definite date of October 11th for my Sleeve. I will be staying overnight; I would really like to know what y'all took to the hospital in your overnight bag. Did anyone get to shower before going home?? Thanks in advance. [emoji847][emoji847]

DoodlesMom, I wish there were more men like him out there. I wish more men & women making a change like we all are had a spouse/significant other as supportive as I have.

Husband refuses to drop me off or pick me up from the hospital. Now what?
I guess my guy is a 1 in a Billion these days. He is so super supportive & his only concern with this whole process is how hot I will look after a yearish. He is worried I will want to be with someone else & I keep reassuring him that is NOT the case. We have been together 24 years & Married 23. I am 46 & he is 51. No way do I want to start all over with someone else. HW: 312 March 2020 Gallbladder surgery weight: 287 CW: 266.4 been staying on 1000-1300 calorie since I had my surgery date of 7/17/2021 which got cancelled because of my Insurance saying I had more to do to qualify.... [emoji34][emoji43] Still waiting for a Surgery date....

Husband refuses to drop me off or pick me up from the hospital. Now what?
Why isn't he on board with the surgery? Does he not want you to be healthier etc...? My hubby has been on board since we found out I am at a 52 BMI & I have an overly fatty liver. He has been to all my appointments with me and heard everything the Dr, Dietitian, Cardiologist, & Psychologist has had to say... He is even planning to do the liver shrink diet with me once COVID allows my surgery. I hope yours comes around soon. Praying for Yall.

Still Jumping through hoops for Ins
Insurance just recently informed me I had to show a current A1c & I had to have proof of 5 more Dr visits before they will approve. Dr office said same but it has to also be a total of 6 months not 3 months. So I did my blood work & talked with my Primary Care about 5 past visits where we discussed my weight & what I needed to do; they are submitting that info & my blood work. Fingers crossed & with God on my side, I pray I have an update next week... [emoji120][emoji120][emoji120][emoji120][emoji120][emoji120][emoji120][emoji120]

I want a VGS & am being told that Bypass is better because I get occasional heartburn. I know my triggers & think if I stay away from them I can make VGS work. I'm Trying to weigh out my options & would Greatly accept any and all advice & input. - VGS vs Bypass
