  1. The nurse in the office I go to said she was doing the daily scale thing and driving herself nuts. She said that she was going to once a week which was a better approach. She has a band and is doing well. It is hard cause you want to see inspiring results right away! So the scale seems logical! I think using the clothes as a measure is a great idea because sometimes the numbers don't match up to the way your clothes fit. I guess losing weight, like most thingsin life--not logical! LOL!
  2. HI, I was banded 6/23 and I had the same breathing concerns--hard to catch my breath for a couple days but it has stopped. I didn't have the throat issue. I would call and ask your doctor-it can't hurt. Hopefully it is just a passing thing. Good Luck
  3. That is great. Sounds like you are off to a very good start. You must be doing the right things. Have you been eating solid foods? I have just been banded a week and I am still on liquids. Looking forward to the next stage. Keep up the good work.
  4. Hello All, I was banded last Mondy and I have been recooping all week and doing pretty well. I go back to my Doctor for a follow up on Monday, June 30. I have dropped about 12 lbs so far since I started. I am hoping to have a nice steady and healthy weight loss. Just wanted to say hello--Thanks, Disney
