I went to a support group and heard from people that have had the surgery for 18 months and more. The "food getting stuck" thing kind of scares me. Is anyone doing the pre-surgery diet? Has anyone had or is anyone been approved for Lap Band surgery by Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal of Maine? My husband works on the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME and I wondered if anyone has already gone through the process with them as far as what they cover for the surgery? Also, if they do cover it, what did you have to do to qualify? Thanks, Laurie:confused_smile:
