  1. I definitely will! I’m going to get some cottage cheese today to see how that goes. Def frustrating but I refuse to give on to liquids right away lol
  2. Surgery twins! I attempted to more to purée this morning and 2 seconds into my 3rd bite running to vomit ? I’m praying it’s just because I had eggs and cheese goey I’m going to try ricotta bake tonight. Have you tried that? Gosh I hope I don’t have to do 2 more weeks of fluids. Good luck!
  3. Thankfully I didn’t have to do the liquid diet pre-surgery. I had the sleeve on 4/5 and today was my first follow up post op and it was awesome. He stopped me a tad early from liquids now off to purée. I had dumping too from the broth, I tried the cream soups and they worked great! I also started drinking my fluids room temperature and that too helped with the dumping. 6 days no dumping now - give it a try it may work for you. Oh and I lost 18lbs already. I’m so happy great start. Praying for you and hope you find a way to stop the dumping I know it’s awful.
  4. I totally and completely understand. I hate the broth too! I’ve tried so many different ways and it all causes the dumping syndrome. I gave up on broth. I’m 9 days post surgery and I see my surgeon Friday I’m praying he allows me to jump to purée.
  5. I’m so blessed my restless leg went away. Now if I can get over 6 spoons of broth I’d be great lol did you increase your protein? The doctor told me at discharge if I start to feel hungry increase my protein shakes to 3 a day.
  6. Mine was I wanted to clean my house in its entirety in one day not 5! I missed playing softball and running with my kids I too developed borderline diabetic and my entire life my BP was always low - welp not the past 2 years. I lost my husband to a heart attack at 34 years old and his only vise was food. I couldn’t leave my daughter without both parents. So I fulfilled my why on 4/5/21 - I’m post op 7 days and so far it’s been great!
  7. I had mine 4/5/2021; so I’m 7 days post op. My hardest part so far has or should I say was anxiety and restless leg minute one of waking up and about 4 days after. To the point that the minute they put me in a room I was walking the halls, when I got home every hour on the hour walking the floors at home. Did anyone else have this post op? Also, I feel like I’m never hungry. I get in my protein shakes but it takes a long time - I also can’t consume any cold liquids it has to be room temp or warm if cold I get cramps. Anyone else?
  8. Hi All! I’m 7 days post op. I had extreme anxiety and restless leg syndrome for the first few days. I literally got up day zero after surgery and walked the halls bc I couldn’t stay still. When I came home every hour on the hour for the first few days I was waking all around my house driving my family insane. Thankfully it went away. Now my struggle is I can’t drink anything cold it has to be room temperature or warmer all cold makes me feel like I have little cramps. Is anyone else having problems with cold things?
