  1. I would also like to give you the name of a fill provider. Her name is Kitty Carmichael, ARNP and she was my clinical instructor while I was training to be a nurse practitioner. She has no problem taking patients banded in Mexico. Diabetes Management NW 540 West Ave Arlington, WA 98271 360-435-5365 diabetesmgt@yahoo.com Fills: $150 first fill, $125 after. 10 day free fill/untill She does not have fluoro yet but is working on it. Hope this helps
  2. I found new copies of the book by Ortiz on amazon.com but not barnes and noble
  3. Thanks so much for the feedback. This is a tough decision. I am moving to Alaska and already have a fill doctor set up. I really wish I could learn more about Aceves but Kuri certainly is popular on here. How do you do that ticker thing?
  4. I am a nurse practitioner and am planning lapband in May. I have a BMI of 37 with comorbidities. I have failed every diet/diet pill and am not taking this step lightly. The last time I was at an ideal weight was kindergarten so I have no idea what it would be like to be in a healthy BMI range. I would love to hear from other bandsters with lower BMI's (weird to call it low BMI when it is still severly obese)! Thanks.
  5. Hi there, I am a nurse practitioner looking for a lapband surgeon. I am going to Mexico and have narrowed it down to Kuri or Aceves. I have not found much info on Aceves but all that I have found is positive and his credentials are checking out beautifully. Any feedback would be welcome.
