My surgery is 5/5. I'm excited but I am concerned about the possibility of loose skin. Im afraid that after all the pain and hard work that I will still be disgusted by my body. I'm going to take one step at a time and it's nice to know that there are people going through the same things I am.

Today makes 4 weeks out from surgery. Pre-op classes are on the 20th which is 2 weeks before surgery. I'm getting really excited but unsure of whether I have everything I need for after. What do I need to have after surgery other than protein shake and meal replacement shakes?

I just signed up and this is the only forum I'm signed up with. My surgery date is May 5th (Cinco de Mayo), Pre-op classes are April 20th and I'm worried that I will not be under BMI 50% and have to take the shots to prevent blood clots. Did anyone else have to give themselves shots at home?
